What to Expect

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking.   We want to help make your first experience a great one.

What does this mean for you? Most importantly, you’re always welcome at First Baptist Church. We’re saving a seat for you.

In our Sunday morning worship hour:

You'll hear the scripture from the Old and New Testaments

You will hear words of faith and joy, repentance and forgiveness

We pray collectively and individually, we sing Christian songs old and new

Sunday school begins after the Children's moment

Then we talk with each other over tea, coffee and refreshments after the service

Testimonials

“The people are some of the warmest and most welcoming, nicest people a person could hope to meet in a church, or really any place. They are the very meaning of a church family, always showing compassion and concern for all who attended, even if not official members. All are welcomed is not just a saying here but it’s proven in every act they make.  If you are looking for a new church this is definitely the place to go, no matter what region you may be.”

– Kristine Sami

“I LOVE THIS CHURCH ALL THE PEOPLE ARE SPECIAL.”
